Our £60m proposals will deliver 531 new student beds, including a mix of individual studio rooms and cluster flats, alongside a commercial unit designed to serve the new and ever growing Broomielaw community. The nature of the development, and the inclusion of 70% cluster flats in the development underscores our goal of appealing to both domestic and international markets.
If approved, the development will see the retention and integration of the modern Glasgow City Mission building, which had previously been marked for demolition in earlier development plans for the site. Approval of these proposals will also ensure the charity’s continued operation at its current location.
